Markets desk · Pakistan and global

Two years of the record.
One honest cone forward.

A point forecast with no band attached is a sales pitch. The Genie publishes the call, the range it expects eight times in ten, and the confidence it earned, then goes back afterwards and marks itself against what actually happened.

Where the market actually is

The window the Genie reads from.

Every answer starts from the same two years, so the desk and the member are looking at one record rather than two impressions.

Pakistan

The KSE-100 closed FY26 up 44%, a third straight year of beating every other domestic asset class, then took the Middle East shock on the chin: a record 191,033 in January, down to 154,517 by mid-March, back to 180,924 in August. The State Bank broke a 1,150bp easing run with a surprise 100bp hike to 11.5% in April and has held twice since. July inflation eased to 9.2% from 11.1%. Reserves sit near $22.5bn. Banks, cement, fertiliser and E&P did the index heavy lifting through the recovery.

Global

Gold is up about 30% over twelve months at $4,354, after a February run above $5,100 and a July trough near $4,050, with central banks buying for a twenty-first straight month. Silver is the cautionary tale: $121.58 on 29 January, roughly half that now. Copper set an all-time COMEX high of $6.77 on 7 August. Brent trades near $87 with the Strait of Hormuz still disrupted, off an April peak above $109. The S&P 500 closed at a record 7,798.99 as cooler CPI and PPI pushed September hike odds below 40%.

ZAZTEK Predictive Market

Published weights. Published misses.

The engine is a transparent statistical ensemble. You can read what each component does, see how much it counted today, and check whether the whole thing has been right.

1

Load two years, weekly

About 104 closes per instrument, each tagged with where it came from. Reconstructed and demonstration bars are labelled as such and the engine refuses to publish a call on a series that is mostly demonstration data.

2

Run four components

Least-squares trend on the log price, damped by how well the line fits. Twelve-month momentum excluding the last month. Distance from the one-year mean in standard deviations, pulled back on a thirteen-week half life. Exponentially weighted volatility, which sets the cone's width and nothing else.

3

Classify the regime, then weight

Trending, ranging, recovery or shock. In a shock, when volatility sits in its top fifteen percent, trend and momentum get cut, the cone widens by half and confidence is capped at 45. The engine is built to be able to say it does not know.

4

Publish the call with its band

A central estimate, the 10th, 25th, 75th and 90th percentiles, a direction, and a confidence score drawn from component agreement, signal against noise, horizon and data quality.

5

Mark it, in public

When the target date arrives the call is scored on direction, absolute error, and whether the price landed inside the band. Band coverage should sit near 80%. If it sits at 95% the cone is too wide and the model is hiding, which is just as much a failure.

A walk-forward test ships with the product: at each past date the engine sees only the bars available then, calls it, and is marked against what happened. It runs on demand for any instrument and any horizon, so nobody has to take the accuracy claim on faith.

ZAZ, on the markets desk

An assistant that cannot make a number up.

ZAZ never sees a blank page. It is handed a data packet built from the stored series, the forecast and the dated events, and instructed that any figure not in that packet does not exist.

Grounded

Every answer shows the window it used, how many bars, and the data quality. You can open the packet.

Bilingual

Ask in English, Urdu or Roman Urdu and the answer comes back in the same language, with market terms left in English.

Local by default

Tola, not troy ounce. KIBOR as the domestic hurdle rate. The rupee as the channel through which every imported commodity reaches a Pakistani portfolio.

Logged forever

Question, answer, packet and timestamp are kept, so you can go back and see what you believed when you believed it.

Genie Wallet

Three books that never touch.

Conflating research money, practice money and real holdings is how a research product accidentally becomes an unlicensed broker. So they are separate, in the schema and on the screen.

Research credit

Prepaid, real, and spends only on deep reports and metered Genie calls. Tops up through bank transfer, Easypaisa, JazzCash or PayPal on the ZAZTEK rails you already run. Not investable, not transferable, not a deposit.

Practice capital

Simulated. Buy and sell against stored closes, watch the position mark, find out what your thesis was actually worth before it costs anything. No real money moves here.

Declared holdings

What you really own, at your own broker, recorded by you so the Genie can analyse a real portfolio instead of a hypothetical one. ZAZTEK does not custody, execute or instruct. Tracking only.

Every posting is a single row-locked transaction against an append-only ledger, so any balance can be re-derived from the movements beside it.

What you are buying, and what you are not.

You get

Two years of stored history on every covered instrument. A forecast engine whose weights, regime rules and scoreboard are all visible. An assistant that answers only from that data and shows you the packet. A permanent log of everything you have asked. A wallet that keeps research money, practice money and real holdings apart.

You do not get

Personal investment advice, a licensed adviser, order execution, custody of any funds, or a guarantee about any price. ZAZTEK International is not registered as an investment adviser and holds no client money. Every call carries a band because the engine can be wrong, and two times in ten it will be wrong outside that band as well.

Markets can move against every scenario described here, and past behaviour is not a promise about future behaviour. Decisions about your own money remain entirely yours. If you need a personal recommendation, speak to an adviser licensed by the SECP.
