جالی — the carved lattice. Four small grids, all the letters, and no clues at all.
Each lattice is five by five, and every letter in it belongs to both an across word and a down word. You are given the exact letters that go in — nothing more. That is enough: every panel has been checked to have exactly one answer, and checked again to be solvable by reasoning rather than guessing.
Today's panel is the same for everyone, everywhere, all day.
Every band plays the same panel — the band changes only what you are shown, never the puzzle. So a nine-year-old on Sapling and an adult on Deep can compare times on the same grid and mean it.

Tap a square, then tap a letter. Tap a letter on the grid to take it back.
Each lattice is filled, then proved to have one answer, then proved solvable without guessing. That is real work, and it is why the puzzle can be trusted.
One square in each lattice is gold. Read in order, the four gold letters spell a word.
