Indian rupee to see mild pressure with RBI rate decision, liquidity measures in focus

MUMBAI: The Indian rupee is set to come under mild pressure at Wednesday’s open with investors focused on whether the central bank will deliver its first rate hike in more than three years and how it plans to manage surplus banking system liquidity. The Indian rupee is expected to open between 96.44-96.46, per traders, having settled at 96.42 to the dollar on Tuesday.
