ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has proposed mandatory identity verification for foreign SIMs and travel eSIMs operating on Pakistani mobile networks, alongside a 90-day threshold for international roaming, in a move aimed at curbing financial fraud, cybercrime and security risks.
