Govt cuts petrol price by Re0.66, raises diesel by Re0.52 per litre
The government reduced the price of petrol by Re0.66 to Rs398.30 per litre, while increasing the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Re0.52 to Rs396.24 per litre, effective from Saturday, October 10, 2026. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised on Friday the ex-depot prices of petroleum products under the federal government’s petroleum pricing mechanism, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.
