China issues third batch of 2026 export quotas for low-sulfur fuel oil
SINGAPORE: China has issued its third batch of export quotas for low-sulfur marine fuel oil for 2026, totalling 1.07 million metric tons, according to trade sources and a consultancy. That brings total marine fuel export quota volumes for 2026 to just over 14 million tons, an increase on last year’s quota volumes, which were slightly shy of 14 million tons. CNPC received 800,000 tons in the latest batch while CNOOC received 230,000 tons, two trade sources familiar with the matter said.
