12 Khwarij, Afghan Taliban killed in thwarted infiltration attempt in Kurram: ISPR

Security forces killed 12 Khwarij and Afghan Taliban fighters while thwarting an infiltration attempt from Afghanistan into Pakistan’s Kurram district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday. A Pakistani army officer was also martyred during the exchange of fire. According to the military’s media wing, the movement of a group of Khwarij attempting to approach the international border from Afghanistan was detected on October 10.
