NA, Senate may endorse KP emergency, governor’s rule
ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly and Senate are likely to separately adopt resolutions today (Wednesday) to endorse the declaration of a state of emergency and proclamation of governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), it is learnt. According to sources, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to support the federal government in Parliament to provide legal cover to governor’s rule and the imposition of the state of emergency in KP.
