Tax Assan Scheme: 222 new filers take the total to 1,945 by Oct 31st: FBR
ISLAMABAD: A total of 222 new shopkeepers filed their income tax returns with tax payment of Rs9.25 million under the Special Tax Scheme for Small Shopkeepers, taking the total filers to 1,945 by October 31, 2026. According to the data compiled by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Saturday, the number of existing retailers/small shopkeepers, who had already filed returns stood at 1,723.
