Pakistan reports eighth polio case of 2026 from KP's Khyber district
Pakistan has reported its eighth polio case of 2026 from Khyber district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) said on Sunday. With the latest case, the number of polio cases reported in the country this year has reached eight, including six from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and two from Sindh. The NEOC said a special sub-national polio vaccination campaign would begin on November 2 in 97 selected districts across the country and continue until November 8.
