Oct CPI rises 9.6pc YoY
ISLAMABAD: The Consumer Price Index (CPI)-based inflation has registered an increase of 9.6 percent on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in October 2026, as compared to an increase of 10.3 percent in the previous month and 6.2 percent in October 2025. According to CPI data, released here on Monday by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), on a Month-on-Month (MoM) basis, CPI increased by 1.1 percent in October 2026 as compared to an increase of 1.3 percent in the previous month and an increase of 1.7 percent in October 2025.
