Sindh decides to pay pension on retirement day from Jan 2027
The Sindh government has decided that employees retiring from January 1, 2027 will receive their pension and other basic financial dues on the day of their retirement. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah to review pension and medical reimbursement matters. Shah directed all provincial departments to clear pending pension bills within three months, saying government employees should receive their pension and basic financial entitlements on their last day of service and should not have to visit offices repeatedly to claim their dues.
