KWSC repairs leaking water pipeline
KARACHI: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) has completed repair and rehabilitation work on a 24-inch Federal Trunk Main (FTM) water pipeline between Habib Bank Chowrangi, the Post Office area and Gulbai, resolving complaints of sewage contamination in the water supply. Superintending Engineer Water Trunk Main Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh said complaints had been received regarding the mixing of contaminated water into the pipeline supplying water from the C Pump Pumping Station to the Gulbai Pumping Station.
