Petrol price hiked by Rs6.88, HSD’s by Rs5.62

ISLAMABAD: The ex-depot price of petrol has been increased by Rs6.88 to Rs391.22 per litre from Rs384.24 per litre. Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) saw an increase of Rs5.62 to reach Rs421.45 per litre from Rs415.83 per litre, for September 17, 2026. The price hike arrives amid growing public apprehension over potential fuel shortages triggered by the risk of closed supply routes.
