Jul-Aug FDI jumps 24pc YoY
KARACHI: Pakistan’s foreign direct investment (FDI) rose 24 percent during the first two months (Jul-Aug) of the fiscal year 2026-24, supported by stronger inflows in August. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Pakistan fetched FDI amounted to USD 495 million in Jul-Aug of FY27 compared to USD 398.6 million in same period of last fiscal year, depicting an increase of USD 96 million. On a Year on Year (YoY) basis the FDI up 80 percent in August 2026 and surged 77 percent on a Month on Month (MoM) basis.
