SBP rejects reports of Rs10 banknote discontinuation as baseless
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday categorically rejected reports circulating on social media about the discontinuation of the Rs10 banknote and a purported last date for its exchange, calling the reports baseless and without substance. In a press release, the SBP said it has submitted a proposal for the introduction of a new banknote series, which is currently under consideration by the Federal Cabinet.
