Online, e-fraud case: Chinese national among three convicted
ISLAMABAD: A local court on Thursday convicted three persons, including a Chinese national, in an online and electronic fraud case, sentencing them to five years’ imprisonment along with a fine of Rs50,000 each. Judicial Magistrate Malik Aman, while announcing the judgment, sentenced the Chinese national, namely Bai Xiaoming, as well as Nauman Abid Malik and Hasnain Mahmood, to five years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs50,000 under Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
