Mobile phone imports decline 8.85% in July-August: PBS
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s mobile phone imports declined 8.85 percent during the first two months of the current fiscal year, falling to $274.129 million from $300.741 million in the corresponding period of last fiscal year, according to data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). In rupee terms, mobile phone imports decreased 10.53 percent to Rs76.267 billion during July-August 2026, compared to Rs85.245 billion during the same period of 2025.
