Auto experts criticise draft policy for weak localisation measures
Auto experts have urged the government to formulate the upcoming auto policy 2026-2031, focusing on localisation-friendly initiatives with a view to strengthening assembling-cum-import strategy. Auto analyst Zain Shariq said the proposed auto policy as defined is entirely anti-part manufacturing.
