SBP-held foreign reserves rise by $11m to $21.4bn

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)-held foreign exchange reserves increased by $11 million during the week ended September 18, 2026, reaching $21.4 billion, according to data released by the central bank on Thursday. The country’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at $26.81 billion as of September 18, compared with $21.4 billion held by the SBP and $5.41 billion held by commercial banks.
