Significant MoM cut in RLNG prices
ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a significant month-on-month cut in Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices, effective September 1, 2026, with the new rates based on two single LNG cargo imported by Pakistan State Oil (PSO). The downward revision comes amid the persistent severe gas load-shedding, disrupting supply nationwide, with rates falling between USD3.49 and USD3.91 per MMBtu across transmission and distribution networks compared to August 2026.
