Sri Lankan shares fall as real estate, utilities stocks weigh

Sri Lankan shares closed lower on Tuesday, hurt by broad-based losses led by real estate and utilities stocks. The CSE All Share index settled down 0.60% at 20,817.82. York Arcade Holdings Plc and Serendib Land Plc were the top percentage losers on the CSE All Share index, falling 22.5% and 19.9%, respectively. Trading volume on the CSE All Share index rose to 69.6 million shares from 32.1 million in the previous session.
