PSX: KSE-100 sheds over 300 points in early trade
The benchmark KSE-100 Index slipped lower in early trading on Friday, as investors remained cautious amid reports that the US is sending more troops and carriers to the Middle East. At 10am, the benchmark index was hovering at 168,296.33, down 340.52 points or 0.20%. Selling was observed in key sectors, including automobile assemblers, cement, commercial banks, oil and gas exploration companies, OMCs and power generation.
