Palm hits 13-week low, on track for second straight weekly loss
JAKARTA: Malaysian palm oil futures were on course for a second straight weekly fall on Friday, with prices declining for a sixth straight session to their lowest in 13 weeks, on weak export data and expectations of high inventory. The benchmark palm oil contract for December delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was down 26 ringgit, or 0.57%, at 4,528 ringgit a metric ton by the midday break, after hitting its lowest since July 3 earlier in the day.
